About us

DryA. is a small family business in Geneva, born out of a personal need: to create a healthy recipe to naturally regulate scalp sebum and thus combat the "oily hair" effect, which is both effective and respectful of humans and the planet. Inspired by nature and its countless riches, we have selected the best ingredients of natural origin to meet this demand. This is how DryA. was born - Dry for "dry" in English and A. for Alessia, our niece, who had the idea of sharing this creation.

Our first-born, "The Original," is the result of patient and meticulous work. Through testing and adjustments, we finally arrived at the ideal formula. Beyond its effectiveness for its intended use, we quickly realized that it also soothed minor irritations and strengthened all hair types (straight, curly, fine, thick, frizzy), promoting regrowth. It quickly became, for us and our first customers, much more than a dry powder shampoo, but a true hair care product in its own right.

Our philosophy at every stage of creation is to follow a simple principle: never compromise quality for convenience. We firmly believe that nature already provides us with everything we need to take care of ourselves, without resorting to unnecessary and harmful chemical components. Our ingredients are carefully selected for their proven effectiveness and responsible origin.

Our packaging is also part of this approach: reusable, recyclable, and designed to leave as light a footprint as possible on our planet. It was born from our imagination with the desire for easy application, directly on the roots, without aerosols or single-use plastic. The kabuki brush, used in traditional Japanese theater, known for its softness and compact shape, was the obvious choice. To avoid lost or disposable accessories, we chose to integrate it directly into the container, with a view to sustainability and practicality.

DryA. is also a tribute to the past, particularly the 19th century, an era we cherish for its timeless elegance. A time when people took care to create, invent, contemplate, and live. We wanted to convey a little of this poetry in our range. Thus, by freeing you from washing too frequently with water, we also offer you the freedom to live each moment to the fullest. Whether it's to start the day well, regain freshness after a workout, or simply feel good with a simple gesture, DryA. accompanies your daily life with gentleness.
