DryA., the Story of a Hair Care Ritual
DryA. is a small family-run business based in Geneva, born from a personal need: to create a natural dry shampoo capable of regulating scalp sebum while respecting both people and the planet. Inspired by nature and its resources, we carefully selected ingredients of natural origin, chosen for their effectiveness and gentleness.
The name DryA. came about quite simply: Dry for “dry” in English, and A. for Alessia, our niece, who inspired the idea of sharing this creation.
L’Original, Much More Than a Powder Dry Shampoo
Our first hair care product, L’Original, is the result of patient and meticulous work. After numerous trials and adjustments, we developed a formula that is effective, natural and balanced.
We quickly realised that this powder dry shampoo went far beyond its primary purpose. In addition to absorbing excess sebum, it soothes mild scalp irritation and strengthens all hair types — straight, wavy, curly, fine or thick. For us, and for our first customers, L’Original became a true hair care product rather than simply a quick fix.

At every stage of development, we follow one fundamental principle: never sacrifice quality for convenience. We believe nature already provides what we need to care for our hair, without relying on unnecessary or harsh chemical ingredients.

Sustainable Packaging, Designed to Last
DryA. packaging follows the same philosophy: reusable, recyclable and designed to minimise its environmental impact. We created a simple and precise way to apply the powder directly to the roots, without single-use plastic.
The Kabuki Brush, traditionally used in Japanese theatre for its softness and precision, was a natural choice. To avoid disposable or easily misplaced accessories, we decided to integrate it directly into the Compact, making it practical and durable for everyday use.
